Welcome to our new University Librarian

We welcome our new Director of Library Services and University Librarian, Anne Horn.  Anne succeeds Martin Lewis, who has held the position since 2003.

Anne has travelled from Australia to join us, having been the University Librarian & Executive Director, Academic Support at Deakin University in Victoria.  She will be our ninth Librarian and the first woman to hold this position.

Speaking of her new role, Anne has said that “I am delighted to be joining the University of Sheffield. Your aspirations and culture, and the Library’s reputation and talented team, have made the decision to move to the UK an easy one.”
